What does your typical work day involve?

On weekdays I work 9-5 pm in the lab and after 5 pm I pick my daughter at daycare and then she is there in my daily routine.( cooking for family, feeding her , playing with her, reading storybooks and listening to her talks).

What do you love most about your profession? Why did you choose this career?

I am a researcher. I have always been fascinated by Science from my early childhood. As long ago as I can remember I always used to have the question why and how about the natural world. This drags me to love what I do.

When did you realize you wanted to work in STEM?

Between 20-22

What were your favorite subjects in school?

Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Computer

What advice would you give girls, who are still in school, who might be considering a career like yours?

Ask question anything or for everything and If you really like to find the answer search it and research it.

Why do we need more women in skilled trades and STEM?

We need more women in STEM and skilled trades, how pertinent can innovation really be if we do not even take into consideration the needs of half of the population. We need to make scientific innovation accessible to everyone.

Who was your role model? What about this person inspires you?

Marie Curie. She inspires me in many ways but the most important is her perseverance when she faced so many challenges in life.

What do you do for fun? What are some of your hobbies/activities?

I love Hiking, cooking, playing badminton.

What superhero do you relate to most? Why?

I would say Mulan, fearless women.
