I love seeing a project at its absolute worst, and the steps involved that make the project look its absolute best when finished!
When did you realize you wanted to work in STEM or Skilled Trades?
Realizing my work type. I love to keep busy and work with my hands. Skilled trades embody the mindset of hard work and hands-on work.
Why do we need more women in STEM and Skilled Trades?
Equal opportunities for all and diversity! There’s still an old-school way of thinking about the trades that need an update with today's society. And the representation of women in these fields is just baby steps toward the bigger picture!
What does your typical workday involve? Can you work remotely? (indoors/outdoors, office/plant, travel time, teamwork/solo work)?
Both in and outside work, demo/cleanup, mostly teamwork.
Who is your role model? What is it about this person that inspires you?
My Aunt! She’s an entrepreneur, small business owner, mother and wife. She can do it all! But she’s also my biggest supporter which makes me aspire to do great, like her!
What do you do for fun? What are some of your hobbies/activities?
I paint, I hike with my doggo, and I practice martial arts for my sanity.
What superhero do you relate to most?
Ahh, Rosie! She doesn’t have super powers but she’s a pioneer.
