WRDC-NL Hydro Trades and Technology Scholarship – Awarded to six female and gender-diverse students entering their first year in a skilled trades or technology program.
Canadian Engineering Memorial Foundation (CEMF) – Open to women with Canadian citizenship or permanent residency who are full-time students in an accredited Canadian engineering program (excluding final-year students).
FIRST Robotics – A variety of scholarships are available to alumni who participated in a FIRST Robotics Competition or Tech Challenge within the past two years. There are currently seven teams operating in NL!
Palantir Women in Technology Scholarship – North America – For undergraduate students in Canada, Mexico, or the US, majoring in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields. Applicants must identify as women and not have previously received a Palantir scholarship.
Ingenium – NSERC STEAM Horizon Awards – Canadian citizens or permanent residents aged 16-18 with academic achievements (minimum 80% average) and accomplishments in STEAM. Applicants must be entering their first year of a Canadian post-secondary institution in a STEAM field.
Virginia Heinlein Memorial Scholarship – Open to international applicants pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Math, Physical, or Biological Sciences. Requires an essay on a new topic for returning applicants.
TD Scholarship for Community Leadership – Open to high school seniors with strong community leadership experience and a minimum 75% overall grade. Applications open each September for students starting university the following year.
Charles Labatiuk Scholarship via Nature Canada – Open to Canadian students studying environmental systems, ecosystems, and their relationship with human societies.
Kin Canada – For Canadian citizens or permanent residents currently graduating high school or enrolled in a post-secondary program. See the Kin Canada page for additional requirements.
Catherine (Chad) Bradley Scholarship Award – An annual $3,000 scholarship for women pursuing careers in occupational health and safety. Open to full- or part-time students enrolled in an accredited Canadian college or university.
Dick Martin Scholarship Award – An annual $3,000 scholarship for students in occupational health and safety programs, covering fields like mine safety, industrial hygiene, and safety management.
Export Development Canada (EDC) Scholarships – Twenty scholarships are available to students studying international business, IT, and finance. Additional scholarships support students from underrepresented communities, including Black, Indigenous, 2SLGBTQIA+, and more.
