There are sixteen thousand eligible participants in NL. Help us give every student the information and confidence to pursue a career in STEM. When you coordinate a chapter, you can look forward to special events in your area supported through our sponsors. Chapters help us distribute activity kits and resources and build a stronger sense of community among students to boost their confidence.

Career Exploration Workshops

STEMforGIRLS Career Development Coordinators travel the province introducing girls in grades 5 through 12 to careers in STEM and Skilled Trades. Workshops include confidence-building hands-on STEM projects, career development activities, and presentations by real-world role models.

Worksite Tours with Role Models

Sponsors work with us to provide students with a realistic and empowered perspective of STEM career options through interactions with role models, tours of industry worksites, and hands-on demonstrations.

Industry Conferences

Allowing students to learn about the latest research, technology, and trends through attending professional conferences can open their eyes to the diversity of career paths STEM offers.
