STEM Safety Relay
The STEM Safety Relay is a two hour workshop in which girls in grades four to six are introduced to women working in STEM fields who highlight their careers and the importance of math and science in school. Participants also complete a fun filled safety relay activity.
A day-long workshop with hands-on activities, presentations and demonstrations. Girls explore the various engineering disciplines and career and education opportunities through the building and coding of robots, designing roller coasters and presentations and demonstrations with support from female role models.
A two-day day post-secondary career exploration experience for high school girls from grades ten to twelve. The primary goal of the event is to raise awareness about the various post secondary opportunities available to female students, allowing them to explore career options in the technology sector.
Girls Understanding Skilled Trades Opportunities is designed for high school girls interested in learning about career opportunities in skilled trades. Participants receive six to eight hours of instruction in carpentry and electrical from female role models and learn to safely construct their very own lamps.
Coding With Rosie
Coding with Rosie is a short hour and a half workshop designed for girls grades four to six as an introduction to coding using robots and simple binary.
