Chapter Registration
STEMforGIRLS programs engage *girls in hands-on learning experiences, provide opportunities to interact with role models and instill the knowledge and confidence required to make informed career choices. STEMforGIRLS programs are delivered by Women in Resource Development Corporation (WRDC) and are provided free of charge thanks to the support of our sponsors.
Registering a Chapter gives educators at your school or organization access to the STEMforGIRLS Learning Lab, full of career exploration resources you can bring into the classroom or assign for students to explore careers that match their interests, gives your school priority consideration for in-person special events, and priority access to STEM activity kit mailouts.
The STEMforGIRLS Learning Lab is open to all ages, but content is tailored for junior high and high school students. Participants earn virtual Learning Lab badges, and those in Newfoundland and Labrador may be eligible to receive hands-on STEM activity kits by mail. These kits are subject to manufacturer age recommendations and availability.
We are committed to supporting all eligible schools and community organizations interested in participating. While in-person programming and STEM activity kits by mail may experience delays due to funding availability, all schools or community organizations are invited to access our online Learning Lab right away by completing this form. For further information on potential timelines for in-person engagement, please contact us at STEMforGIRLS@wrdc.ca.
