STEMforGIRLS Learning Lab is an engaging and accessible online career exploration platform designed specifically for girls in Newfoundland and Labrador. With a focus on building confidence and empowering girls to explore their interests in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM), and Skilled Trades, we aim to provide a supportive environment to discover potential career paths.

Upon signing up, students can explore careers within the modules below: Skilled Trades, Natural Resources, Natural Sciences, IT & Arts, as well as a specialized Career Development module. Each module offers detailed information and resources about a variety of career options, helping users evaluate if a particular field aligns with their interests and passions.

Through STEMforGIRLS Learning Lab, girls are encouraged to find their “spark” by accessing valuable career insights, confidence-building experiences, and community connections. The platform equips them with the knowledge and support needed to pursue successful futures in traditionally underrepresented fields, fostering a more diverse and inclusive workforce in Newfoundland and Labrador.
